Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What recording formats do you have available?

A: Currently, DVCProHD, DVCPro50, DVCPro, DVCAM, Betacam SP, and DV. HD formats include both 1080 and 720, progressive or interlaced. Variable frame rates are available from single frame to 60fps recorded to tape or P2 cards. Time lapse, fast motion, slo-mo, and loop recordings are also available.

Q: What is the difference between film and video?

A: There are many differences between film and video (ie. contrast ratios, latitude, depth of field, grain, etc.) however, think of film as the Super8 that your grandfather used to shoot, or the stuff that rolled through the film projectors at school. You could hold it up to the light and see an image.

Videotape, on the other hand, looks like a wider version of that rust colored stuff that flys out of your car window when your audio cassette deck eats your favorite tape.

Q: I booked you for a full day and we only shot for six hours. Will you come over to my house and help me fix the fence?

A: No.
